The availability of the product differs – for dogs of more than 6 weeks old that weigh 5.1-10 pounds is a formulation of 30mg/0.25ml tube; for dogs that weigh 10.1 to 20 pounds, a 60mg/0.05ml tube; for dogs that weigh 20.1 to 40 pounds, a 120 mg/1ml tube; for dogs that weigh 40.1 to 85 pounds is 240mg/2ml; and for dogs that weigh 85.1 to 130 pounds, a 360mg/3ml is recommended. A combination of other available tubes is needed for dogs that weigh more than 130 pounds.
Revolution for dogs should be kept away from children, just like any other drugs and medicines, as it may cause allergies and irritation. The product is relatively safe but at times may cause side effects such as drooling, vomiting, rapid breathing, lack of coordination or diarrhea.
